@GP_MagazineNL Eigenlijk is het wel bizar. Ik vermoed ook dat als Verstappen echt een keer stopt in de F1 en WEC of GT races gaat doen, de media aandacht op termijn ook wel zal afnemen. Rossi in de GT3 was eerst ook een hype en nu is het gewoon normaal.

They are so fixated on showing the leader they keep missing a lot of action. I'm fine with the actual camerawork, it doesn't feel too zoomed in to me but the director sucks.

@ZS_Racing Ik ben benieuwd of Verstappen hetzelfde spelletje gaat spelen als Hamilton in 2016. Goede start, P1 pakken, maar dan niet doortrekken maar bewust defensief en langzaam om Norris het veld in te duwen.

@RobynRKessler @F1 Late response but you might be thinking of Rubens Barichello's first win at Hockenheim in 2000. Schumacher crashed out in a start crash, leaving Barichello as the sole Ferrari. Barichello started from P18 but a storming drive and daring strategy saw him win the race.

@SelNft @F1 Corners (or straights) named after drivers are fairly common. For example Zandvoort alone has 3 corners named after drivers. The Gerlachbocht, Slotemakerbocht and Luyendykbocht are all named after drivers. There is also the Schumacher-S at the Nürburgring as another example.

@RobynRKessler @F1 2 other drivers have won from P17. Kimi Räikkönen, Suzuka 2005, and John Watson at Detroit in 1982. Schumacher never won from P21. The lowest grid position he ever won from was the 1995 Belgian GP starting from P16. Watson is the record holder winning from P22, Long Beach 1983.

@F1 Ridiculous choice. Sainz was nowhere near the track. It could have been easily covered by waved yellows for those two laps. Totally killed two battles for no reason.

@motorsportcomnl 2007 is het vermelden ook waard. Met 6 races te gaan lag Raikkonen 20 punten achter, in een tijd dat een overwinning 10 punten opleverde. In die 6 races wist hij het gat te verkleinen om uiteindelijk in de laatste race te winnen en met 1 punt verschil het kampioenschap te winnen.
