@Albumism @kylieminogue Yep. First heard it at one of the listening stations in Tower Records in Manhattan, early 1998. They had the Aussie import (no lenticular sleeve!) I heard the first 2 minutes of Too Far and that was all I needed. It's still my favorite KM album to this day.

There's more to singing than hitting high notes & putting melisma over every syllable. Some "powerhouses" screech so much they become unlistenable.

The non-stop mix was the one everybody played initially and the non-segued version was sorta rare. Now it's the other way around.
