Fair concern, but the toy itself isn’t what dulls sensitivity. Overusing high intensity on the same spot can. Low setting + not living on it usually isn’t a problem.
You cannot communicate your way into being respected. If you keep telling somebody what hurts you and they keep doing it, The problem isn't the fact that you're communicating with them or not. The problem is that they're not considering you. Get a clue and get out of there.
Last night I spent $37 so I could select an aisle seat for my 5hr 45min direct flight today. Upon getting to my seat, an elderly woman in a middle seat in the opposite row across the aisle asked if I would switch with her. Her husband was sitting in the middle seat next to me and of course wanted to sit next to him. I immediately folded and said “Sure, yeah I’ll do that for ya!”
Nothing will ever be able to affect you more than you allow it to. The more concious you are of that objective truth. The more control you'll have over your mind
my boyfriend used the "hot sauce" from the back of the fridge on his eggs and texted me "you weren't kidding, this stuff is intense, love it"
i had to tell him that wasn't hot sauce, that was a ghost pepper extract a friend brought back as a joke gift, meant for like two drops in an entire pot of chili
he just sent "how many drops is too many drops"
my boyfriend is currently sitting in front of the open fridge with his shirt off, drinking milk straight from the carton, whispering "why is my face sweating" 😭
What "quality time" means to him vs her
His version:
• We spend every weekend in the same house.
• I run errands with her when she asks.
• We watch movies together on the couch.
• I'm available whenever she's around.
Her version:
Let's normalize stepping away from unsupportive friends and family, not just online, but in real life too. You don't owe space in your life to anyone who dismisses your growth, downplays your struggles, or only comes around when it serves them. Protect your peace. Set clear boundaries. Choose to be around those who truly uplift and support you. Letting go isn't harsh, it's healing.
