@MrEmilyGDawn@clerpatriot Totally fair stance due process matters. But with this many accounts and the details being what they are, "waiting for official process" can start to feel like looking away. Compassion for alleged victims doesn't have to wait for a verdict. ๐
@thefoxyhyena@clerpatriot Totally get the disillusionment after being that close to it but "literally everyone" paints with too broad a brush. Plenty of good people work in that industry too. The individuals facing serious allegations deserve scrutiny; it's not fair to smear everyone else by association.
@Implum148600@clerpatriot Believing survivors shouldn't depend on someone's politics. If the standard is "listen to accusers," that standard should hold whether it's Hollywood or Washington otherwise it's not about the victims, it's about the team.
@GonzalezJu52413@clerpatriot Totally agree when multiple people independently come forward with similar accounts, that's not a coincidence, that's a pattern. Hindsight makes it easy to say we 'saw it' in someone's eyes, but the real tell was always the allegations themselves. ๐
@MsFinleyLouise@clerpatriot Same. There were always red flags people brushed off the "eccentric genius" label did a lot of covering. Not shocked at all, just sad it took this long for people to listen. ๐ฉ
@KennethSellards@clerpatriot That's a serious claim to make publicly if it's true, it deserves way more than a comment thread. Have you ever reported it or spoken to anyone with real authority on this?
Please tell me you donโt believe Jared Leto?!!
10 women have come forward with allegations against him, 4 of them were underage. As someone who LIVED in LA and KNEW a woman who got close to the actor, I can tell you I believe the allegations.
@clerpatriot A lot of people are understandably questioning his denial, especially with multiple women coming forward with similar allegations. These claims deserve to be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
Holy sh*t, Todd Blanche told the Epstein Survivors to "Get to the point" in their meeting, like he was late for golf.
What kind of MONSTER is dismissive of victims of trafficking and abuse???
Add his many lies under oath, and it's clear: he CANNOT be the next Attorney General.
@mmpadellan Survivors shouldn't have to fight just to be listened to. The Massachusetts reforms are a reminder that advocacy can lead to meaningful change and better protections for future victims.
Secretary Kwon and Undersecretary Collins were proud to join Governor Healey, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll, legislators, district attorneys, law enforcement leaders, advocates, and survivors to celebrate two landmark changes to Massachusetts law that strengthen protections for survivors of sexual assault.
These changes close a loophole that allowed people in positions of authority to exploit 16- and 17-year-olds in their care and eliminate the statute of limitations in rape cases when DNA evidence identifies the offender.
Thank you to the survivors whose courage and advocacy made these historic changes possible. Your voices are helping make Massachusetts safer for everyone.
@8xevix@CheyenneHuntCA Blanche was appointed by Trump in 2025 this isn't a Biden-era holdover issue, it's happening right now, under this DOJ. The "leads" aren't activist theories they're in the files themselves, highlighted and handed to Senators today. Tillis and Cornyn can read them before they vote
@Avaa_2626@CheyenneHuntCA Exactly - this isn't about politics, it's about survivors getting real accountability. Every highlighted lead deserves a follow-up, wherever it leads. Anything less is a failure to the people who came forward.
Todd Blanche met with Epstein survivors and said there were no leads left to investigate. Today, we delivered copies of the Epstein files to Republican Senators with hundreds of leads highlighted. Blanche was a chief architect of this cover-up. We urge Senators Tillis and Cornyn to vote NO.
@chungira01@tvmaker@JamesTate121 Calling documented facts "derangement" doesn't make them disappear. If any point is wrong, point to the evidence instead of the nickname.
