@cyrintheum @Flanvii The artist. They had another incident in summer where they wanted to keep half the money for people requesting to cancel their spot on the queue.
Semi had not done any art yet.
But wanted to keep money from them :')

Also it's against Paypal TOS to ask buyers to cover fees.

for every artist you respect who is 'anti-NFT' or 'anti-AI' there are a thousand people who can't be an artist because they weren't born in the right body, right place, or right family to pursue art and never given the tools, time, or support to believe in their own dreams

IMO it's worth a few insufferable tech bros if it means millions of everyday people are gifted the capability to do what they previously thought was impossible, to actualize what would have stayed a dream, and I think that's the most human thing we can do for each other

taking a stand against something is the easiest way to forfeit your ability to shape it into something better
