phi aof: if you ask me which scene is my fav scene, the answer would probably be the continuous sequence starting from the wall-climbing scene, eating roti, all the way to the final scene of the ep. we’ve seen many viewers talk about having similar feelings, such as “like drowning,” “suffocated,” “unable to breathe.” in fact those are exactly the feelings we wanted tanrak to experience during that period of time.

i have to admit that when i watched the first draft cut of this scene, the moment the final frame appeared, tears suddenly started flowing. not bc of straightforward sadness but bc of the suffocation, the confusion and the emotional burden that tanrak was carrying. when writing the script, i could somewhat predict that this scene would work on viewers to a certain degree. but after seeing fourth bring it to life, it went much further than i had imagined (🥺👏🏻👏🏻)

many of the feelings that existed in the script were expanded through the character’s eyes, facial expressions and silence, until they became another emotion entirely, one even more powerful than before

บาร์ธรู้เสมอว่าแทนรักกำลังรู้สึกอะไร หรืออาจะไม่รู้ แต่กำลังลองใจ บาร์ธมันรู้ว่าจะแตะต้องความรู้สึกแทนรักได้ยังไง บาร์ธไม่ได้ใช้แค่การรุกเร้าแบบเปิดเผยอะ อย่างฉากตอนกินโรตีแล้วใช้นิ้วลูบริมฝีปาก ทุกอย่างถูกถ่ายทอดออกมามันมีนัยยะ และมี sexual tension อะ

แทนรักคือคนที่เติบโตและยึดโยงอยู่กับกรอบทางศาสนา และมีความเชื่อที่ชัดเจนมาตลอดชีวิต บาร์ธแม่งพังกรอบทุกอย่างของแทนรักเลย

ต้องยกเครดิตให้เจมีไนน์อะ เจมเป็นคนที่ใช้สายตาได้ดีพมาก ลึกมาก เจมทำให้บาร์ธกลายเป็นตัวละครที่มี sex appeal สูงมาก ทั้งที่ไม่ต้องพึ่งฉากเปิดเผยเนื้อหนังเลย

เจมแค่การมองด้วยซ้ำ สายตาของเจมมันเอาการแสดงอยู่ ทุกอย่างแสดงออกมาให้เรารับรู้ได้หมดโดยไม่ต้องพูดเลย การกระทำมันดึงดูดไปหมด ทุกอย่างที่บาร์ธทำมันมีแต่ความปรารถนา ความลุ่มหลงในตัวแทนรัก

มันทำให้ตัวละครบาร์ธดู “โป๊” มาก โคตรเกย์ โป๊โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องถอดเสื้อผ้าสักชิ้น

CRAZY SCENE because tanrak walks inside that bathroom and he tries to wash it off but he sees himself in that mirror and it all comes back to him, he looks at himself and he witnesses all that his body and mind can do to himself so once again he turns his back to the truth, but not only himself anymore he’s been watched by all the imageries, saints, pictures and crosses on the physical space of the seminar so he locks himself inside a private room, the only place he can’t be seen nor watched, guilty induce, shame rooting, “dirty placed” he finds a release
