No sir, you are completely wrong here.
This is precisely how civilisations surrender their intellectual inheritance: first you are told a text is irrelevant, then that defending it is regressive, and finally that the respectable thing to do is quietly abandon it.
Today it is Manusmriti. Tomorrow someone will drag a few verses out of the Ramcharitmanas and tell us Tulsidas has accumulated too much historical baggage to be defended. The day after that, someone will cherry-pick passages from the Vedas and demand that we distance ourselves from them as well.
Where exactly does this logic stop?
The Corpus Juris Civilis, compiled under Emperor Justinian I in the sixth century, belongs to a world radically different from modern Europe. Nobody argues that every provision in it should govern twenty-first-century society. Yet Roman law remains an object of serious study across universities because it is part of the intellectual ancestry of modern legal systems.
Civilised societies do not preserve old texts because they agree with every sentence in them. They preserve them because they refuse to become historical orphans.
I am not arguing that every injunction in Manusmriti must become law today. I am arguing against this astonishing proposition that once political activists have successfully demonised an ancient Indian work, Hindus themselves should concede the battlefield and announce: “Fine, this book is irrelevant anyway.”
Absolutely not.
Our Manishis produced an enormous civilisational corpus. Vedas, Upanishads, Dharmashastras, Itihasas, Puranas, philosophical schools, commentaries and countless other works. They should be read, preserved, debated, contextualised, criticised where necessary, and defended against dishonest caricature.
We cannot allow our relationship with our own intellectual heritage to be dictated by whoever shouts the loudest against it.
If its popular image has been constructed through selective quotations, polemics, mistranslations or political campaigns, then challenging that image is exactly what scholarship is supposed to do. History is not a public-relations verdict that becomes permanently binding once enough activists repeat it.
A civilisation that becomes embarrassed by its books every time someone attacks them will eventually be left with no books worth defending and no civilisation worth inheriting.
A very important part of Cognitive Warfare is that the enemy creates mistrust of population on all structures. Courts, police, education, society. Enemy then attempts the ultimate. To create mistrust in the Armed Forces institutions.
Once that is established then they don't have to attack, the society defeats itself.
In a perfect world as she wants this woman should be not sitting on stage, staying the way she lives,
should not be leader or give any position or authority to herself, etc etc.
A declared communist, she must identify one organization, including the communist or a communist country, where their is no hierarchy. Brinda Karat, or her husband or their senior colleagues have they left their bungalows, and given space to next generation? Are they back living in slums, tribals, poor people whom they claim to represent?
Do look at Europe or even Spain. The downfall and degradation is happening rapidly because of a set of people...identify their class and section. Extremely dangerous. Particularly when they can really act but truly not mean what they say.
You would think that data showing remarkably low levels of child malnutrition in Gaza would be front page news.
Nope. Perhaps because the data is causing experts to ask: should a famine even have been declared in Gaza in the first place?
How much of India’s infrastructure was added after 2014?
A comparison with the preceding decade puts the scale into perspective:
Indicator | 2004–14| 2014–26
DFC | 0% | 100%
Solar | 2% | 98%
Ex. Ways | 11% | 85%
Tapwater | 7% | 79%
Metro | 9% | 75%
Port Cap | 15% | 71%
Rail Elec | 7% | 69%
4Lane NH | 29% | 60%
Infrastructure is built over decades.
But some decades build more than others.
AISA President Neha Bora should be interrogated by police
She calls to "eradicate" BJP/RSS from the "soil of India"
Don't forget that AISA's icons are Charu Majumdar & Kanu Sanyal
Both Chinese agents and traitors who waged war on India
She knows exactly what she is saying.
Space offers microgravity.
In the absence of strong gravitational forces, buoyancy and sedimentation do not affect crystal growth. And makes it easier to form larger, purer and more uniform protein crystals.
This is an active area of frontier research and there has been some early commercial activity.
It is wild to be simultaneously so scientifically illiterate, and nauseatingly condescending.
Hey @NYCMayor@ZohranKMamdani, you skipped India Day Parade at Manhattan’s Madison Avenue, the first NYC mayor to do so since the parade was first held in 1981. But of course you attended terrorist-sponsor Pakistan’s event with its diaspora. Says a lot about you.
💡Why am I not surprised? This seems like a classic manifestation of puritanical behaviour, where imported social conservatism of the Indian hardliners has become even more rigid and zealous than that of the actual Middle Easterners and other Islamic nations!
Dare you, @thecaravanindia , to consult the archives before repeating this propaganda.
Yes, Hitler and Mussolini biographies became hugely popular in Turkey, and it has long been reported that such books were found in the homes of Palestinian militants. But what does that prove? S ok d ok you condemn them?
Indeed, the real story lies in the primary sources and actions.
Read my book (link https://t.co/NbshiguWNI) based on 1,000+ archival documents from Britain, the United States, France, Israel and the Arab world. The documents reveal a far more disturbing history:
A) Hitler was not merely admired by some Islamists. He was at times compared to Allah and even spoken of in prophetic terms.
B) Among sections of the Shia world, Hitler was interpreted through the religious idea of the Twelfth Imam.
C) Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose ideological lineage produced Hamas, regarded the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, as a figure who could carry forward the struggle associated with Nazism and Fascism after Hitler and Mussolini were gone.
D) And then there is the inconvenient Indian chapter: V.D. Savarkar, the intellectual fountainhead of modern Hindu nationalism, was among the earliest Indian political voices to openly support the establishment of a Jewish homeland, at a time when opposition to Nazism was hardly fashionable.
These are not arguments built from social-media posts. They are questions that can be tested against archives. So before lecturing others, perhaps @thecaravanindia should first read it.
Read the archives. Then make the argument for whom you support literally saw Hitler like Allah & Prophet.
BIG EXPOSE
1. It was Turkey that supplied drones to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
Today I exposed how a handful Indians became part of the anti-India cartel
Meet Abdul Malik Mujahid. He is a Pakistani and is working very closely with Bilal Erdogan, son of Turkey's PM.
Waittt..
> A party that treated toilets for women as “too much” suddenly wants to lecture us on women’s dignity ?
> Providing LPG connections so women didn’t have to depend on wood-burning chulhas was apparently not a priority either for decades.
> Rajiv Gandhi’s govt overturned the impact of the Supreme Court’s Shah Bano judgment for political appeasement, helping patriarchy win and leaving minority women to suffer for decades. 🤡
This isn’t women’s empowerment. It’s political hero-worship dressed up as feminism... eww
And no, I’m not simping over a failed, arrogant 58-year-old politician who is nothing without his surname... ewww.. such an ignorance of past & present.

Arundhati Roy
From Novelist to Anti-State Propagandist
Arundhati Roy is celebrated by the Western ecosystem as a literary icon, but her actual career is a decades-long campaign against the Indian state.
From stalling infrastructure to mainstreaming armed extremism, here is the chronological blueprint of her anti-India agenda. 🧵
I will be called a "fascist" and "Whatsapp University" for knowing this
Today is Aug 23
On this day in 1948, the Communist Party officially declared war on science
The Soviet Ministry issued order 1208, putting total ban on teaching and research of genetics, which was declared a "bourgeois pseudo-science."
The Communists considered evolution, i.e., competition between species, to be anti-Marxist.
Instead, the Communists preferred a new "scientific theory" called Lysenkoism which said that wheat crops could learn to share scarce resources in a true Marxist spirit.
Yes, Marxism can't just be taught at JNU, you can teach it to plants as well, as per official Communist doctrine.
This was tried of course in the Soviet Union. As it turns out, wheat crops were fascist and refused to learn (probably because of RSS propaganda) and there were severe famines in which millions of people died.
Undeterred, the comrades held a "scientific debate" at Leningrad in 1948 where scientists were challenged by Communists.
Not surprisingly, the Communists won the debate. And following this, order no. 1208 was issued on Aug 23, banning the teaching of genetics.
All existing textbooks were destroyed, and thousands of scientists were sent to concentration camps.
But you probably don't know this story. Because the same people who burned the science textbooks in the USSR probably also wrote your history for you.
Major ED Revelation in Conversion Racket:
• ED has found that Pastor Ravi Mohan Pahadiya received ₹2.2 crore from the US without FCRA registration.
• He received funds from a US citizen named Thomas Eugene Lynch.
• He was tasked with converting the SC Valmiki and ST Bhil communities of Jaipur.
• He runs a school named Children of Hope School.
I'm yet to see an account that unironically uses "scientific temper/temperament" and talks legitimate science.
He's absolutely right here, fans only circulate the existing volume of air, they don't create it. Put a fan in vacuum and it stop working. What's unscientific in this?
Publicise this folks... spread it to the max. X boosts only the left (in India); Starlink related pressure. You need to do this boosting yourselves, one by one.
