Delightfully Awkward. Empowerment for all vulnerable populations. Safe place for conversations. Knowledge is power. Think for yourself. I ask a lot of questions
I have been using this app for about a year and I really like it! If you have any questions about feel free to ask 💜#RIPStudentLoans https://t.co/GxFuv8kKWH
@Toyota it is ridiculous to charge this much when your car is a 2025 and you haven’t even had it for a year yet. This is a manufacturing issue, not a user. Very disappointing #toyota#Rav4
@NESpower thank you for everyone’s hard work.
My younger brother has been without power for the week and he was told they wouldn’t have power until Friday, Feb.6, 2026.
Will there be a discount applied to their accounts?
Those of us who have to work more than 40hrs a week to barely #survive don’t have enough time to think/ worry about the impacts of #AI moreover think/ learn about #AGI. It sounds like #scifi , but it’s got me spooked because it feels very close. What are y’all’s thoughts?
My husband and I were talking about #AI people are worried about #immigration but what about the #jobloss we are experiencing because of AI and will continue to face? Then we have the race to #AGI. @elonmusk AGI will happen eventually but is there a way to control it?
Dear @JohnCornyn, @tedcruz
I am reaching out today with a simple but urgent request: please stand with TRIO students.
Every day, we work with young people who live in harsh realities, where basic needs are not always met, where an adolescent mind is burdened with adult worries about bills, food, and survival. Some have lost loved ones to violence, drug use, or mental health struggles. For them, hope can feel like a luxury. And yet, when they speak of TRIO, they speak of possibility. They tell us, “TRIO gives me a chance to reach beyond.”
Through TRIO, students discover they are capable of more. They go on to college, to the military, to CTE programs, building futures that not only change their own lives but strengthen our communities and our country. This is what we do in the trenches every day: reminding them that they matter, that they are worthy, and that they can succeed. Isn’t this exactly what we want for America’s future?
But if this lifeline is cut, we fail them. Already under-resourced schools will lose critical support. Students who could become tomorrow’s innovators, educators, and leaders may never know that greatness was at their fingertips.
This is not just about a program. It is about the future of our nation. By investing in these students, you are investing in a stronger, more resilient United States. I ask you to stand with them, stand with TRIO. #TRIOworks #protectTRIO
With Respect
@RepTonyGonzales@HispanicConf TRIO programs have not yet received their Grant Notification Awards, directly impacting 500+ low-income, U.S citizen students in your district. We deeply appreciate your support of TRIO and urge you to continue standing with our students and their futures.
TRIO needs your voice! Call your Congressperson today, thank them & stress why continued funding matters. TRIO supports 1st-gen & low-income students with college & career readiness. Let’s keep serving seniors during their toughest year. 💙 #TRIOWorks
Since what seems like January, TRIO staff have been under immense stress, and the uncertainty is taking a toll on morale, mental health, and physical well-being. It is becoming increasingly difficult for TRIO staff, as many are facing termination due to insufficient funds to sustain positions. The release of our GANs is urgently needed.
While this may not seem as pressing to those with secure positions, for us it directly impacts our livelihood. Finding new employment is not a simple solution, many colleagues are applying and interviewing for the same limited opportunities.
We are deeply committed to our roles because we truly love what we do, guiding students toward success. Every day, we educate and support them as they explore all opportunities, including college, career and technical education, the military, and the workforce. We respectfully urge you to do everything possible to restore stability, end this uncertainty, and protect not only our future, but the future of the students we serve.

@realDonaldTrump make businesses get rid of or limit self-checkout. We shouldn’t have to work our jobs and become the cashier and bagger at these stores and not be paid for it.. If we are focused to use self checkout then we should get a small discount on our items. 🤷♀️ #sayno #selfcheckout
Do you ever wonder if there is a claqueur in the room?
The men behind him do not clap immediately, we clap out of social contagion. There is a social pressure to make sure you are not the only one not clapping, but what if everyone choose to only clap when they agreed?
Would it sway the audience otherwise?
Clapping is mostly seen as positive, so what if people are not being given the time to critically think about how they actually feel about something.
They are all like on this person clapped so it must be good, but if they are a Claqueur, they are being paid to clap the loudest at certain parts of a speech…just a thought lol 😂
Why not fix the education system that is free? What are other states with big populations doing that we are not?
Also, what are the qualifications to receive this voucher? Is it 1 per house hold? When will this surplus run out? If people live in a low-income areas and want to send their children to their choice school, what does transportation look like?
Even as a middle class military kid, I had to walk or ride my bike to school.
That opportunity isn’t for people who can’t afford it, it sounds like it helps those who already have the means to do it and a tax break for those who already have their kids in private schools.
@GovAbbott Depending on what you read, Texas ranks 41th in Education and 8th in drop outs.
As a military brat who has gone to many schools, Texas is behind, has been behind for over 20 years+, and will continue to be behind with these school vouchers.
The system needs to be fixed.
They are already in the high schools and have been for the last 6 years+. Wood shop is the only I haven’t seen much but, school in SA have HVAC, Auto, and Welding and they can get their certs, while in HS.
But with how the school system is setup, schools in low-income areas struggle with maintaining infrastructure and have less money for advanced technology that more wealthy areas have.
