Americans don’t think we live under a dictatorship because we have elections, but the only reason we have elections is to preserve the illusion of democracy and maintain the dictatorship of capital.

Haven’t you ever wondered why regardless of who wins the election the bombs keep dropping and the rich keep getting richer while the masses struggle to make ends meet?

The reason is simple: There is no real democracy in capitalist society because all elections do is put a different face on the same barbaric system that exploits the labor of the masses to enrich the billionaire class.

Elections under capitalism are a sham because both parties the people are propagandized to vote for are bought off and bribed to serve big money and sell the people out at every turn.

It has been hiding in plain sight this entire time: The dictator that rules over every aspect of our lives is not a person, but a system that puts profits over everything including our own lives. The dictator is capital.
