That’s not entirely valid though. Just cause vehicles weren’t made to “hurt people” doesn’t take away from the fact it can hurt and kill people in the wrong hands just like guns so why not leave all driving to professionally trained certified drivers like you want to leave guns to trained law enforcement? And a gun’s sole purpose is not pure offense. It’s also simply to defend yourself. In an ideal scenario, if the attacker does not have a gun, 99% of the time they will run away scared at the sight and knowledge of you having a gun and hopefully you won’t have to shoot them and they think twice before trying to harm or rob the next person.

I know you heard about the terrorist attack in New Orleans over here where the radical Isis ran over and killed a bunch of people in a crowded street on New Years. What’s stopping any lunatic from doing the same thing in crowded areas? Literally nothing. Must we ban vehicles so evil people can’t run over and kill anymore?

That’s like banning vehicles cause some people have crashed and killed others and died. Yet you have ambulances that save people’s lives. How can you think it’s logical to disarm yourself, a law-abiding citizen, in hopes you will prevent evil criminals from obtaining illegal weapons or other means of doing harm? I rather have an even playing field AT WORST than hoping to the stars this evil criminal wasn’t able to obtain any weapons illegally that can do me or my family harm.

Except my scenario is far more realistic and you refuse to answer cause you know you would be cooked . In any scenario, possessing the firearm with training puts you at far better odds against any attack than not having it and relying on bare hands and arrival of authorities and that is a fact that can’t be debated. In this scenario obviously it would be wise to not reach and to comply with whatever the person wants which is usually robbery. People aren’t just walking around shooting each other for sport over here. You just see headlines and think that’s daily life over here lol. If someone pulls a gun on someone random 9/10 times it’s a scare tactic to quickly rob and they have no true intent of ever pulling the trigger.

You’re not listening though. What chances? What is your plan here? Fight, run, or call police? Say you are with a wife or kids so running is out of the question. Obviously you can’t call the police while directly being faced with a machete attacker unless you escape first so your last option is fight the dude with the machete with your bare hands with you, your wife, and kids lives depending on your victory. Good luck with that one. My chances are 100x better being trained for this situation with classes and practice with a gun the criminal probably isn’t expecting me to have than fighting machetes and knives with my bare hands.

The Quran is a false teaching given to a false prophet by a false god 600 years after the true scripture and word of God and billions of people ate it up. The devil is the great deceiver and starting a false religion that is led by wicked teachings that proclaim Jesus is not God in the flesh and is not the way to salvation sounds exactly like something Lucifer would do to prevent as many people as possible from truly being saved and to cause violence and destruction in the world as we are witnessing now and have been witnessing for many years.

By what logic can it be concluded that if a person defends themself and their family from criminals their country has failed them when there are criminals and homicides in every single country in the world? The only countries that failed their people are the countries that put innocent civilians at an automatic disadvantage against a potential attacker. Good luck telling the crazy dude with the machete to hold off a few minutes from chopping off your limbs until you call authorities and they arrive to defend your life for you. That gives you guys some time to get to know each other and become best buds. Then the whole thing can be forgotten like it never happened and ya’ll can grab some drinks at the pub and laugh the whole thing off.
