Yesterday, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces set a record for the range of a drone strike on the enemy’s critical infrastructure — more than 3,300 km.
When Commander Magyar offers NATO countries the “borscht recipe” and says that russia poses a threat to Europe and that NATO countries are not ready for drone war, many people do not take it seriously.
Look at the numbers.
- There are drones capable of covering 3,000 km and striking targets. From russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast, this distance covers all of Europe, including Iceland.
- russia is scaling up and constantly increasing drone production. Confirmed drones launched against Ukraine per day: 948 on March 24. 892 on May 13. Even an “ordinary” night means around 100 attack drones.
- Imagine daily mass raids with the modest figure of 200 drones per day against critical infrastructure facilities. Will the stockpiles of “classic” expensive air defense missiles be enough for a prolonged campaign against cheap drones flying in swarms?
- No single “magic” air defense system or best drone can stop a mass raid. It is necessary to build an ecosystem of layered defense: early detection, electronic warfare, mobile fire groups, interceptor drones, gun-based air defense, and expensive missiles only for the most dangerous targets.
Ukraine pays a bloody price every day for having invented this recipe. If NATO countries think they have plenty of time, they are mistaken.
Europe must rapidly turn Ukraine’s lessons into doctrine, procurement, training, and force structure — including dedicated Unmanned Systems Forces in every country, integrated with air defense and conventional forces.
Partnership with Ukraine is not only help for an ally that is holding back russia. It is the fastest way for Europe to prepare its own defense against a threat that already has range, scale, and pace.
Magyar: The Ukrainian military is a collective mind made up of people from different professions.
We will stand.
Moscow will fall.

Stark contrast with what the Director of Central Intelligence, who is far more read into Russia’s military and economic situation than Witkoff and Kushner are, came to Moscow to discuss.
This was a set piece written and directed by Putin: bring Trump’s hapless idiots to Russia for a gauzy photo op, not to discuss an end to the war but to reiterate the same propaganda, hoping they return home and can convince their master it is true, whatever Ratcliffe says to the contrary on the links.
Lot of dooming and teeth-gnashing over this visit, but so far it’s the same performance we’ve seen before, with perhaps a touch more sycophantic stupidity from Dim Philby.
Will they next turn up in Kyiv? Who knows. Will it make a difference? Don’t hold your breath.
After the midterms both of these “envoys” stand a reasonable chance of having their lives turned inside-out by long overdue Congressional inquiries into their diplomacy-as-enterprise side hustle. So one can see how both they and the Russians are keen to notch a geopolitical victory before the House flips. Doesn’t mean one is in the offing, however.
Personally, I think the EU should be putting aside 10 billion euros per year for the production of long range strike drones for hitting Russia. (minimum range 3000km)
And probably another 5 billion for the development and deployment of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles for hitting Russia. (minimum range 800km)
The goal should be 400 strike drones per day + 200 ballistic missiles per month from purely European manufacture.
Russia strikes SBU headquarters. Witkoff "scared" about going to Kyiv. Ukraine fast-tracks interceptors for jet-powered drones. U.S. wants "back payment" from Europe for Ukraine aid. Russian general who bombed Ukraine children's hospital shot dead in the head. Dems in the House wary of tariff-dependent Russia sanctions. Russian sabotage operations spiraling in Europe.
- Giorgia Meloni - PM of Italy:
"...Today, we know that Russia's aggression against Ukraine did not begin in February 2022, but in 2014, with the illegal annexation of Crimea and the occupation of Donbas.
And we know that this aggression is part of a broader imperialist project that threatens the security of the whole of Europe.
Ukraine's future is the future of peace, freedom, and well-being. It is the future of a territorially integral Ukraine in a common European home, since your heroic resistance is our battle for democracy.
Your freedom is freedom for the whole of Europe.”

@JayinKyiv Far too many trucks still floating around freely. Lots of targets still out there. Be great to see the blockade tightened. Loss of Crimea by Russia is a victory strategy for Ukraine.
🚨 HORRIFIC RUSSIA'S WAR CRIMES EXPOSED.
A shocking investigation by @slidstvo_info exposes systematic rape, electric shocks, and severe torture inflicted by Russian soldiers on Ukrainian men—including priests—in occupied Kherson.
Russia's Wildberries company is now almost completely wiped out. What was one of the country's largest companies only 45 days ago - with $76 billion in annual revenue - is gone.
And now, Russia will do the same to the secknd kargest, Ozon, with $55 billion/year in revenue. Then?

Meanwhile, fascist Russia sentenced a 70-year-old woman from the occupied Zaporizhia region to 15 years (!!!) for supporting Ukraine -- and in court, before her tormentors, she began singing a famous Ukrainian lyrical song about a mother giving her beloved son an embroidered cloth as a blessing for his journey through life.
Three Russian aircraft in a single operation: a Su-33, a MiG-29 and the Orion strike and reconnaissance drone were taken down by the Unmanned Systems Forces.
They also destroyed a "whole zoo of enemy air defense assets": 8 radar systems, an S-400 division position in Gelendzhik, and 2 air defense systems - Tor and Pantsir.
11 out of 14 targets were successfully hit in Russia’s Rostov and Krasnodar regions, while the remaining three were struck in occupied Crimea.
@Kasparov63 How does Russia staff its murderous campaign? Like the army of prison wardens who torture Ukrainian POWs as part of a daily routine. Who are these Russians?

Please watch and consider that Russia is proudly targeting and murdering Ukrainian children, and that there are real people operating these drones. That they have commanders all the way up to Putin authorizing this terror campaign.
Hey, this is quite the coup for a Western country that still supports a critical ally, including by granting it rights to domestically produce long-range missiles.
