In occasione dell’#UNGA81, ho avuto un importante incontro con la Direttrice Esecutiva @UNFPA Diene Keita.
Le ho confermato il forte sostegno politico italiano all’Organizzazione e il suo impegno concreto per promuovere i diritti delle donne e delle ragazze, temi prioritari anche per la @cooperazione_it.
L’Italia resta impegnata nella lotta globale contro le mutilazioni genitali femminili e contro i matrimoni infantili, precoci e forzati.
Il Governo intende proseguire la stretta collaborazione con il Fondo, specie nei contesti più complessi e difficili, come Africa e Medio Oriente.
