The country of Ghana is a Big Brother, that hasn’t changed! In times of great trouble, Ghana has always been a safe haven for fleeing politicians & activists from Nigeria, persecuted for no fault of theirs. For instance, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, & Fela Aníkúlápó Kuti. This story is all too familiar.

After the Kalakuta tragedy, Fela lived in exile in Ghana, returning to Nigeria in 1978.

But David is no politician, he is journalist, an investigate journo nonetheless! The stakes couldn’t be more higher! So I lend my tiny little voice to the cry for help from the persecuted Nigerian Investigative Journalist - David Hundeyin @DavidHundeyin.

Ghana has a rich History of being the Brother’s Keeper. No one should lose their freedom, personal life & livelihood at David’s age. IT’S NOT ALRIGHT! David is a journalist, he has committed no crime.

Nigeria is known for highhandedness & utter disregard for the Rule of Law, by the people in authority. The Goverment in Nigeria hate the truth so much! They’re determined to suppress it, by every means necessary. They offer you misery or death, choose, it matters not to them! HOW DID WE GET HERE?

David Hundeyin is the quintessential investigative journalist that Nigerians & Africans have come to embrace. There are not many like him on the continent of Africa. David is paving the way for a new breed of firebrand journalists, that will go on & change our world. He needs our admiration & protection, not persecution.

I urge the President of Ghana @NAkufoAddo, Ghana’s Ministry of Interior, & Ghana’s Refugee Board to resist the bully & the demagogue called Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT & his attempts at bullying & rendition. David should be protected by all means necessary, he won’t & cannot survive a rendition or extradition to the “lawless” Nigeria. This has been established!

We commit David in your care O Lord, let your angels guard & guide his steps in these time of great trouble. Nothing will happen to the young man whose only crime was/is fighting for his dearly beloved country, & the continent of Africa. Protect David Hundeyin, for the glory of Nigeria, & Mama Africa! 🙏
