Perhaps the only reasonable person in the US legislature. Every other legislator just wants to defend party, not public interest. For democrats, investigate Trump, not Obama, and vice versa
Senator John Fetterman says he was the only Democrat on the Senate's Fraud Exploratory Committee to vote in favor of opening an investigation into Malia Obama's suspicious USAID grants when she was still living at the White House in 2007.
"She was just a kid," said Fetterman, "So shouldn't we be looking at how a high school girl snatched $2.3 million for writing pen pal letters to a few dozen kids in Africa?"
Fetterman says the party's refusal to investigate its own people is the main reason he believes there will be a red wave in November.
"Nobody sees it coming, but mark my words."
Who decides what matters?
That question sits at the heart of governance.
Last week, Athena-Anchoria Fellows explored Policy Agenda Setting with Dr @SamAmadi, examining how priorities shape development outcomes.

Imagine it was Peter Obi who couldn't keep his house in order like Atiku. Imagine what Demola would have written today.
The governor of Adamawa State was Atiku's political son, he is now with Tinubu.
Binani left him.
Senator Abbo left him.
Babachir Lawal left him.
Bindow left him.
That's a huge fumble. None of them believes in him. None.
BREAKING: Former SGF Babachir Lawal has announced his resignation from the ADC following Atiku Abubakar's emergence as the party's presidential candidate, saying Tinubu would be a better president than the former vice president.
Lawal said the ADC presidential primary results were written to favour Atiku and insisted he won't be part of the former vice president's rigging machine in the 2027 presidential election.
He added that Atiku is incompetent and a tribal, religious bigot who shouldn't come close to the presidential office.
Peter Obi remains the beginning and end of ADC and Atiku's political career.
Since Obi left with Kwankwaso it has been one exit or the other daily
-Peter Obi left
-Kwankwaso left
-Donald Duke moved
-Makinde no gree do again
-Bala Mohammed run forget him shoes
-Babachir Lawal don abuse the party vamuz
-Nobody wants to deputize AA.
Amaechi will soon run .๐คฃ๐คฃ
Who is this man Peter Obi?
@AnthonyAY19 successful means they got the best OUTCOME. Today, its presidential candidate is not running around to reconcile with anyone. Atiku is facing crisis. that is what is called 'successful'. I did not say 'free and fair' primary
@ADCNig = best organized primary (process)
@NigeriaNDCHQ = most successful primary (outcome)
Fun fact:
Odumegwu Ojukwu once said that his problem with Nigeria is that it does not understand his English.
Sometimes English is difficult to understand
2026 Primaries Are Worse Than the 2022 Primaries - Amadi
The reason no lessons are learned is that there are often no real consequences for violating due process. Political actors do not internalize the cost of breaking the rules because they are rarely penalized for doing so. If candidates or parties lost elections for failing to follow fair and transparent procedures, they would be forced to learn from those mistakes. Unfortunately, a culture of what many describe as political banditry has emerged, where some believe they can disregard due process without consequences. When such behavior is rewarded rather than punished, it only encourages further violations and weakens democratic institutions.

FOR THOE WHO WOULD THINK
@NigeriaNDCHQ had the most SUCCESSFUL primary (clarity on presidential candidate, major deflections from APC and ADC to NDC)
@ADCNig had the most administrative EFFICIENT but not SUCCESSFUL primary (well-run but equally fraudulent primaries, disputed presidential results and estrangement between presidential aspirants)
On the whole, the entire primary elections fall far below DEMOCRATIC QUOTIENT
This is the kernel of my analysis on Arise. It is absolutely consistent with my post. My post was deleted because it was incomplete and misunderstood.
No one can reasonably disagree with this analysis.
That this the kernel of my analysis
My problem with you guys is that you do not understand English. NDC can have the most successful primary (it actually does) and ADC have the most administratively efficient (it does). English is perhaps more difficult to understand than we think. And thinking is more difficult.
My problem with @SamAmadi is that he is as unstable on political issues as weather
He gave kudos to ADC as the most organized party congress and later deleted it, today he is of NDC
He was one of the architect of Obi or nothing mantra, but after Obi left the coalition, he started preaching united opposition, that a divided opposition will not defeat Tinubu
The man is unstable

NDC Conducted The Most Successful Primaries, No Reconciliation Needed Afterward - Amadi
The APC is still dealing with the fallout from its primaries, with complaints, disputes, and aggrieved members continuing to emerge. In contrast, the NDC appears to have come out of its primaries with fewer internal conflicts and little need for reconciliation. I would also give credit to the ADC, which benefited from experienced political figures and a well-developed structure built over many years. However, the broader issue is that the problems witnessed during the primaries were not caused by the parties alone. Electoral rules, administrative challenges, and the role of INEC all combined to create what could best be described as a perfect storm.

Prosperity is Business of Leadership (Zechariah 1: 12-21)
Godโs purpose for secular leadership is prosperity for the people. Where leadership fails to ensure prosperity or lead the people into poverty, it has failed.
Prosperity is wealth plus peace and stability. Because prosperity is a divine plan, it requires first to establish the right social order. Prosperous nations have the right social order that rewards good behavior and punishes bad behavior.
Where there is poverty arising from violation or breach of the right social order, prosperity requires restoration of the right social order. You have to restore the right social order first as a precursor to prosperity.
The source of prosperity is well-governed cities. If the cities are poorly governed, the nation will plunge into poverty.
The triangle of good governance of the city is good institution-good policies-good programs. Where leaders have wisdom, knowledge and competence they will choose the right development, built the right institutions to get to the agenda, select the right policies that generate prosperity and effectively execute programs aligned to the policy.
The triangle of institutions, policies and program goes together with the triangle of strategy, operation, and tactics. This is driven by another triangle of wisdom, knowledge, and competence . Effective leadership needs wisdom to choose the right agenda and the right value system. It needs knowledge to design action plan to achieve the development. It also needs technical capability (competence) to implement the actions plans that lead to realization of the development agenda.
The key message of todayโs scripture is that the essence of leadership is prosperity. When leadership succeeds there is prosperity. Where leadership fails, there is poverty. Prosperity comes from establishing the right socio-moral order.
This MamaPee advert on Peter Obi is super!
Should be played over & over again to our youths, parents, elders, new & old voters.
Nigeria Will Be โOKโ if we do the right thing.
A new Nigeria is POssible.
*SHARE FAR AND WIDE!*
This guy has a lot of good insights. Do not take his extreme and vacuous recommendation. Pay attention to his critiqu. The fact is that some of these appointees add no value. May be without a defence minister, security would not be worse off; perhaps it will be even better.
Sowere is telling us that often bureaucracy is the problem. Some of these appointments are merely routine and even retarding
Yes, my โDefence Ministerโ will be a drone.
Not a bureaucrat sitting in an air-conditioned office writing reports and receiving courtesy callers while insecurity spreads across the country.
A technologically advanced, highly coordinated drone-based defence system will be deployed to protect Nigeria's territorial integrity, monitor our borders, track terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other violent criminals, and support security operations in real time.
These systems will provide continuous surveillance, rapid response capabilities, intelligence gathering, search-and-rescue support, and logistical assistance.
They can deliver food, medical supplies, equipment, and communications support to troops wherever they are deployed, reducing delays and increasing operational efficiency/effectiveness.
The future of national security lies in technology, efficiency, accountability, and precision, not endless bureaucracy, corruption, and excuses.
Nigeria must embrace modern tools to protect its people, secure its borders, and support the men and women tasked with defending the nation, while ensuring that all security operations remain subject to the rule of law and appropriate civilian oversight.
The future is innovation.

You people accused @PeterObi and the Obidients of playing emotional politics in 2023, instead of getting real politicians on their side. Now they have listened and are filling their mandate with real politicians for 2027. Watch for hard and brutal campaign in 2027.
May be after victory, the cleansing will start
Mama APC Senator Nkechi Nwaogu who decamped to NDC overnight after she was rejected by APC won the primary for Abia central Senate.
Please keep an eye on her. She must not return to the Senate
