@fundingfumbled@beft_@fvderop@skdh no what I mean is with humans everything that goes wrong can be pointed to something/someone. If we use something that we don't even understand and an error propagates it'd be very hard to pinpoint where it comes from. Atleast with the models we have rn newer models may be better
@fundingfumbled@beft_@fvderop@skdh That is a very flawed implication. First for a technology information to exist someone must understand it AND create it. Technology doesn't exist in vacuum. For everyone else to use it would mean to trust that person. Now replace that person with ai
The last line in the paper says they set the 2 R S term to 0. But people really enjoy bringing down Academicians because if they don't want to spend time understanding literature it is easier attacking them and proving that they aren't good at what they do
It is insane that this anti science wave is going on twitter. Academicians have always made most of their work publically accessible and want discourse, ofc if you come attacking the work with heuristic arguments without understanding it you won't be taken seriously(1/n)
afaict the nobel prize winner in chemistry this year had a theoretical model for his experiment that was wrong because he equated x^2+y^2 and (x+y)^2 and the paper still made it past peer review
