@PabloTorre People keep saying why pick Aspiration? I think it's obvious, if caught you can say well these people are criminals. You can't believe criminals. It's the perfect cover. Stellar reporting in my opinion. You are killing them when you drop more each time.
@CGBBURNER Far fetched and Requires their last first and all of their seconds from PHX. But I guess possible cause fit wise healthy Beal would be ok for Lakers.
@pokervincent@ClutchPoints@FTFonFS1 No unless the young guys each made a huge jump. Two of Reaves, Christie , JHS, Knecht would have to be at least 50% better than what they currently are. I would need the equivalent of 6 lottery picks for Curry. And Curry and Dame ain't the same so don't compare that trade.
@jayjoe96@OVOLakeShow 28 is not young to GM. GM's look at trades based on positive and negative assets. DLo and Rui can easily be looked at as negative assets. DLo picked up his player option which means he didn't have any great offers. We will have to add assets to move him.
@jayjoe96@OVOLakeShow The pelican trade is better. I wouldn't want the Rui contract. At the deadline DLO is not an expiring contract considering he had a PO. They wanted 2 picks. Austin is worth 2 picks. If we offered 2 picks or Austin they would have made the trade.
@Drkingsbruh It's crazy more people don't notice this. They don't give him everything he requests. Example- Kyrie. Every network talks about the Lakers relentlessly and the team isn't good. LeBron brings more attention to the most popular franchise which makes them more money
@LakerFilmRoom Great conversation today. I so want a big athletic team that wins games 103-98. Because you have to build around AD. Enhance AD by giving him defenders and rebounders. LeBron can play any kind of way.
@chantruong@Yinoma2001 That's what I was thinking. Even though KCP wasn't great this series his value is still at least a few million more than his current option & if he could get 3 or 4 year that's a real money difference. A few teams need a 2 that can defend that's not ball dominate.
@LAbound2 I don't think Ham has the personnel for his offensive & defensive schemes but coaches stick with their ideas so ๐คท Based on the season I think the player that fits the least in Ham's schemes is DLo but DLo is so much more talented than the alternatives.
@chuka_truth @thunder_draft @BobbyMarks42 @AuthorCGWhite Lakers just paid $4.35M for a 2nd(40th). The new CBA makes them more valuable. Teams can now sign 2nd round pick to a 4 yr deal starting at $1.1 M (this yr's number) Teams with little draft capital can buy a 2nd a have some young talent to develop instead of none.
@BobbyMarks42 How can Naz Reid go from the minimum to $14M in an extension? I thought the extension amount is tied to previous salary? Or anyone who follows Marks and knows the answer.
@forumbluegold I think game 1 is a must win for the Lakers. (They have to win a minimum of one at Chase and this one should be the most viable) I can see the Warriors coming out flat from the 7 games series but watching the Lakers all year you know they come out flat half the time too.
Darvin Ham- I get that playing Gabriel/Bamba with Rui kills the spacing but Bron/Rui/Brown/Beasley/Schrodeiisn't creating enough offense to warrant the defensive rebounds and rim protection we give up against this big strong team. Wtf
@LakerCentral365 I gradetge trade a C. Rui is a better than Nunn. He is a bad defender lottery pick that the team that drafted him is giving up on him who also wanted a bigger role & wants to get paid. It can work out great or be nothing for 3 2nd rd. picks. LAL does great w/ 2nd rd. picks
@phillipalfred_a They are triple repeaters. Are they an anomaly or the norm? Don't use an anomaly to make your point. There are just now teams that will be joining them in consecutive tax repeaters. Then we will have more examples and then you can use it as a point.
@Prime_LeBron23 If they were going to do that they should have bought him out stretch & waived him at the beginning of the season & signed 4-5 guys that signed mid levels w/ other teams including Monk. They would have still been able to trade THT and Nunn to get a $20m guy and be under the tax.
