@toly@alessandrod Anyway Anthropic can't enforced their license apparently, its their problem to enforce it as you said. Strange to see a paywall is not enough... GL fighting distilling.
Since all LLM distilled every human IP, I'm ok with Kimi distilling Fable. I prefer everything to flow freely than allowing one private corp making profit off of everyone without truely paying the original authors.
@toly@alessandrod The purpose is commercial, it's an entire copying of the original work or not transformed significantly, so not the definition of fair use. Look at mid-journey, its literally a steal.
@toly@alessandrod Well if distilling everyone worthless idea in Fable is Ok, I don't see the problem distilling Fable's compression of worthless ideas.
@toly@alessandrod@toly from your argument if you can't defend your copyright then you have no right in the first place. Then why have law in the first place? It's illegal to assault somebody it's on them to defend themselves? The Scale at which A.I infringe copyrights is inhuman and you know it.
@toly You are avoiding the question and avoiding the spirit of the Law. If I'd create a model to generate similar picture of the most trendy artist, you know I'll eventually get sued and you know this would destroy his market value.
@toly Every artist most post on the internet to promote their work in order to live, an image of a picture, a text, etc. Paywall is not a solution for them. Still, A.I companies trained on them and monetized it daily. You are thinking too much like a trader with your mispriced market.
@realricky And yet, most hardcore bitcoin maxi would not be willing to update the software such that new tech comes in to compress UTXO or ZK proof to create light node.
@LukeDashjr@dmweisberger@1914ad How? Afaik it make sure block template is not centralized. But it does not fix a miner becoming too large. Suppose US impose restrictions on all miner in the US to censor other countries txn. Datum is useless
Here as 30% ish of hahsrate is in the us alone.
@LukeDashjr@dmweisberger@1914ad Personnally, I feel bitcoin kinda already failed at decentralization, mining pool are so concentrated that they can censor transaction if they want. No BIP have been proposed to improve on that front.
