1/2Despite the carnage today, this lady was adamant to train staff that she and her daughter, were entitled to sit in 1st class for free because she couldn't find a seat in standard. She hadn't reserved one, also refused to pay for an upgrade.

2/2It is the first day the trains are running after Christmas. Everyone is trying to get home. Yet she laughed about how they expected her to stand for her short journey and was rude to the lovely train staff. How entitled to feel u hv a right to a £100 upgrade on 2 £10 tickets?

I am on the next train but the train afterwards is cancelled completely. Staff are lovely as usual. The seat next to me has someone got halfway to their destination and had to give up so taking the train back to where they started first thing this morning.

@CrossCountryUK Also it was the station staff that told me they were unable to honour your Ts and C's and that cross country were non responsive to their requests.

@CrossCountryUK I have a 1stC res for 1513 Bhi to Soa with disability ass. My train has been cancelled. The 1413 might be too full for me, where is the taxi for me listed in the ts&cs?

@CrossCountryUK I have been fortunate to get on but it is crowded, uncomfortable with no access to facilities. Not worth the cost of the 1st class upgrade. Plus have had to take the priority seat of a gentleman that just had surgery in 1st class.

@santanderukhelp Huh. I realise this is years late but may I suggest you look at your inclusion and accessibility policies? Not everyone can use or has access to a desktop device due to disability 🤦🏻‍♀️ #tonedeaf
