TRAFFIC FATALITY REPORT!
This week, our valley experienced one traffic fatality. While we are grateful that number wasn't higher, one life lost is never acceptable. Every fatal crash leaves behind family, friends, and a community affected by the loss.
Make the choice to drive responsibly. The life you save could be your own, a loved one's, or someone you've never met.
DRONE SUCCESS STORY!
On May 12, 2026, LVMPD Dispatch received reports of a fight involving multiple individuals in the 3800 block of East Flamingo Road. Officers and an LVMPD drone were quickly assigned to the call to help locate the individuals involved.
The drone successfully located the subjects and provided real-time information to responding officers. With assistance from the drone unit, officers safely arrived on scene and apprehended those involved in the incident.
This is another great example of how technology helps officers respond quickly, efficiently, and safely while supporting public safety throughout our community.
