Recently, there is news that actor Wang Yibo will no longer renew his contract with YH, causing widespread concern.

YH’s stock price fell 9.48% today. In the second half of this year, the share price continued to decline, reaching 12.69% in October, and more than 40% from June 20 this year to now.

As the 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗶𝗯𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to Yuehua Entertainment. According to the announcement of YH, Wang Yibo’s contribution accounted for:

2019: 16.8% of the revenue

2022: 59% of the revenue from Q1-Q3

2024: 60% of the revenue (Wang Yibo contributed ¥459 million out of ¥765 million)

According to the Investor Relations Department of YH, “His [Wang Yibo] contract with the company wasn’t due to expire until next year, so please see our official announcement.” They have also reiterated Wang Yibo’s contribution from 2024 until mid-year of 2025:
