An elderly woman was riding her bicycle along a road in Ukraine’s Sumy region when she noticed two military robots. One was damaged. The other was trying to pull it out of danger.
Realizing they were Ukrainian, she stopped and went to help.
The damaged ground robot of Ukraine’s 71st Airmobile Brigade had hit a Russian mine. Operators sent another unmanned vehicle to recover it, but remotely connecting the two for towing proved difficult.
So the woman simply stepped in.
She guided the recovery robot into position, helped it hook up the damaged machine — and the job was done.
Then she returned to her bicycle and continued on her way as if nothing extraordinary had happened.
We don’t know her name. We don’t know where she was going or who was waiting for her at home.
But there is something profoundly Ukrainian in these images: she saw that our soldiers needed help, helped them — and rode on.
A grandmother, a bicycle, two military robots and a war.
Ukraine. 🇺🇦💙💛
14 yaşındaki bir Rus, Putin’e hitaben bir video paylaştı. Tüm dünyada milyonlarca izlendi ve yorumlar yapıldı.
Konuşmanın tamamı:
(Şu an ellerim çok titriyor.
Gidin.
Yeter artık.
Benden bu kadar. İyi geceler.
Horrific images from Kyiv today. A Russian attack right in the city center; the historic Academy of Sciences building is burning; there are dead and wounded…
In light of all this, we must not forget that the scoundrel Guterres shook hands—smiling—with the person responsible for this nightmare, and Trump rolled out the red carpet for them.

A Ukrainian combat medic brought two puppies to safety from a dangerous area at the front.
"I promised them, 'I’ll get you out,' in a place where promises usually shouldn’t be made. I kept my promise - the tsutsypatsi (his cute way of saying 'puppies') are safe," he wrote.

A bull named Martyn lost his owners to the war and spent over a year living beside Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk direction. The soldiers couldn’t leave him behind, so a soldier took him home.
That soldier has since turned his home into a refuge for animals rescued from the battlefield.
Donkeys, goats, pigs, raccoons, geese, sheep, cats, all brought back from the war zone by servicemen who refused to abandon them.
Moscow destroys. Ukraine saves.
Even the animals know which side is human.
This video shows daily life in Kyiv. You can go to settings to get closed captioning in English. The resilience of Kyivans is amazing. https://t.co/xft2mUYLqm
@maria_avdv This is horrible. I wish I could stop it. There is a maniac at the helm of this country. And there are people working on removing him from office. To wait until his term is finished is too long.
