@MarieFrRenaud thank you for continuing your fight for the needs of ALL students! What the UCP has and continues to do for our most vulnerable children is absolutely deplorable.
Tonight I proposed an amendment to the UCP’s Bill 15 - Choice in Education requiring charter schools to implement non-discrimination policies regarding enrolment of students with disabilities.
The UCP voted it down unanimously.

Don’t forget we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Relaunching doesn’t mean we stop physical distancing.
Please make sure to physically distance from others, wear a mask when you can’t be 6 feet apart, don’t touch your face when out & wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
New poll makes it clear Albertans don't want @jkenney and the UCP to pull out of CPP or create an Alberta police force. So, given this, you really have to wonder why the Premier is pushing this? Who exactly is pandering to? #ableg

Tears watching this. And if you have a single negative thing to say about this, leave. Get out. Don’t want your words. Don’t want anything to do with you.
Dear Min @AdrianaLaGrange. This is our 7 yo non-verbal daughter interacting with her EA last wk from home. Her EA modifies class work to allow her to keep up with community school peers. Your announcement today to end EA support is devastating for our family and others.
So "to keep Albertans safe" @jkenney will slash education funding and lay off thousands of people who work hard to teach our kids... but the ridiculous $82,000/day "war room" remains fully funded?
Right, thanks, got it. #ableg#COVID19AB
Less than two weeks ago, the UCP promised they would not cut education funding during this pandemic. Today, they broke that promise. Watch Minister LaGrange on March 15th promising not to do the very thing she did today. #ableg#abed
It was children and parents like this one that I immediately thought of with yesterday’s cruel announcement by @AdrianaLaGrange.
Two tiers of education while classes are canceled. One for kids who don’t need an EA and another for those who do.
It’s immoral.

While we are having that honest conversation, can we also start properly diversifying our economy? We say it all the time, but our actions ($30 million/year war room) speak far louder than our words. We need to reinvent our economy. We can’t afford one more day of the status quo.
Why has AB turned against @jkenney?🤔
👎He slashed funding to municipalities, schools and seniors
👎He tore up master agreement w/ docs
👎He closed or partly closed 20 provincial parks
👎He presided over tens of thousands of job losses (for a start) #ableg

Jason Kenney & the UCP think spending $90M on their failed ‘war room’ over 3 years is more important than investing in affordable housing.
“We would have expected housing maintenance to at least stay steady from previous budgets, but certainly not go down from $53M,” #ableg
Today was not only #BudgetDay2020, but also my son’s 7th birthday. Not for the first time, it made me think about the impact this government’s approach to education will have on my own kids. #ableg#abbudget
