Everyone at Everton Football Club was deeply saddened yesterday to learn of the passing of our former physiotherapist, John Clinkard.

An immensely popular figure during our success in the 1980s, John sadly died at the age of 71 following a battle with cancer.

RIP, 'Magnum'. 💙

@SusanKi25112765 @markruskell No Suzanne, it’s a condition. Maybe you’re confusing it with body dysmorphia, which is a mental illness. Just be grateful you are content being what you were born as.

@SusanKi25112765 @markruskell Wrong. Try researching Gender Dysphoria before coming out with such sweeping statements. It is real. It is a condition. It is not a mental health illness. It CAUSES mental health illness, mainly from the distress the person is suffering each and every day.

@LozzaFox @IndiaWilloughby Gender Dysphoria is real. It’s causing young people to become suicidal because they have to pretend they’re happy with who they are biologically. I had no idea about this condition until one of my children almost died. My eyes were opened & my heart broke for my child.

My eldest son is 15yo. He didn’t get his end of primary school prom, or his year 6 residential. Instead, he got full-blown anxiety and has steadily gone downhill over the past 5 years. He has now been diagnosed with anorexia and I’m scared for his future…
