I don’t usually do this but I will open up the debate further about the need to remove Women commentators and pundits from the Men’s game. Until such time that they improve and get up to speed.

The current standard of Women working in the Men’s game, is really, really poor. Right across the board!

The experience of watching men’s football and the journalistic standards of men’s football, have both been hugely compromised because of this ‘TOKENISM’.

The ‘WOKE’ agenda’s need to diversify and find equality, is a valid observation. But it must not come at a cost of professional standards.

Highly qualified Men cannot get a job on TV because under qualified women fill these quota’s. This is wrong.

I believe in a ‘MERITOCRACY’.
That is not judged on quota’s and box ticking exercises.

The best candidate should get the best job. The most worthy person in the room, should get the recognition and reward.

Is that so right wing?
