I've got another one for you @headinthbox... An agent is a monad: it maps from message-sequence (system, user, examples) to another longer message-sequence. Each tool is also a monad from message-sequence (ending in tool_use) to message-sequence (ending in tool_response).

@headinthebox I reckon it's not an object; I reckon an agent is just a function that can make calls to other functions (be they traditional functions or agentic functions). It's compositional in the same way that "await" makes asynchrony compositional.

I enjoyed #Gulliver2024 by @BoxTaleSoup at #edfringe. What I like is their perfection of movement and set design, and their sea shanties! Really compelling how they infused puppets with personality.

I loved the sketch show @BishopsComedy at #edfringe -- great chemistry between the performers, strong stage presence, some hilarious gags (that I won't spoil), best sketch show I've seen out of this fringe and the last. I hope a BBC commissioning editor puts them onto Radio 4/7.
