If you ever get the opportunity to love someone, please take it seriously.
Show them how much they mean to you through your actions, not just your words. Make them feel wanted, appreciated, remembered, and included in your life. Let yourself be vulnerable. Tell them how you feel instead of hiding your heart out of fear.
Love them deeply, gently, and intentionally. Listen when they need someone to talk to. Show up when things get difficult. Put effort into repairing what can be repaired instead of allowing something beautiful to fade because neither of you wanted to do the work.
Give them your time, your attention, your best memories, and the parts of yourself that make sharing a life together meaningful. Don’t assume they’ll always be there without needing to feel loved by you.
Especially when you have the chance to build a life with someone, don’t waste it by withholding the love you’re capable of giving.
If you get the chance to love someone, love them wholeheartedly. Make the effort. Be present. Let them feel it.
Sometimes, that’s what love comes down to: choosing to show it, over and over again.
Being disliked by people who thrive on gossip, jealousy, manipulation, and confusion is actually a compliment! Some people don't dislike YOU. They dislike the conviction your presence brings! Baby, rejection is sometimes God's protection wearing an ugly outfit! 😍
i love you. i hope the world keeps you safe & saves you in the same way you save me with your existence. may you feel the warmth you continue give on others, & may the love you pour into others finds its way back to you, too. (i hope it’s not always you who has to give)
“you’re still holding a grudge” time passing isn’t a fucking apology and neither is an apology without change. i hope the guilt eats you alive for the rest of your life. i want you to drown in you’re thought like i drowned in mine. fuck you.
I treat myself like I would my daughter. I brush her hair, wash her laundry, tuck her in goodnight. Most importantly, I feed her. I do not punish her. I do not berate her, leave tears staining her face. I do not leave her alone. I know she deserves more. I know I deserve more
When God wanted to make David a king, He didn’t give him a crown; He sent him Goliath.
When God wanted to raise Joseph up to the palace, He didn’t give him a shortcut; He gave him prison.
When God wanted to make Moses a leader, He didn’t give him a stage; He gave him a wilderness.
When God wanted to make Esther a queen, He didn’t give her comfort; He gave her a crisis.
A lot of times, when you feel like God is breaking you, He’s actually building you.
see the thing about me is i’ll always use full names when telling my truth
and i have receipts
everyone writes me off as crazy but when people aren’t held accountable for their actions shame is the only way to go and i will shame someone until they die for their actions
One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that you cannot force anyone to communicate, understand your perspective, or work through problems with you.
It doesn’t matter how much you love them or how important the relationship is to you. You cannot beg someone into understanding your heart. You cannot convince someone to recognize the value of your friendship or see why your love is worth holding onto.
They have to reach that understanding themselves.
If someone chooses to walk away, let them. Stop exhausting yourself trying to keep someone who has decided they don’t want to stay. You can care about someone deeply and still accept that you cannot make their choices for them.
If you have an intense soul, you need to pour that intensity into your hobbies/art. That energy needs to go somewhere or it'll swallow you. Your depth must have a purpose. Create your own worlds, that you and other like minded people can escape into. You have a super power.
I watched something on TikTok that said:
“You can't defeat a person who believes that even their failures are a blessing from God.”
This really hit home for me because it’s so true. I realized I’ve changed so much. Before, whenever something bad happened, I would instantly break down. But now, I always tell myself:
“The Lord is working on something in my life that will bring a beautiful reward after this.”
