There was a conscious shift away from teaching children the importance of endangered species and conservation as “they” realized this leads to anti-corporate “anti-growth” thought. Animals rainforests and stuff were big in the 90s (animal planet, zoobooks, etc) then disappeared
Since there is talk about bringing back ASBESTOS (this is somehow true), I thought it would be useful to describe just some what happens to you when you breath this stuff into your lungs.
In short, it’s terrible.

Let me explain something to everyone:
people’s accommodations are not up for debate.
if we say we need something. that’s it. end of discussion. those are PART of us, part of who we are. you too need those to be with us. We are the expert on our lives.
It’s crazy how many people suffer from black mold poisoning and don’t realize that it could be escalating or the cause of their major depression, anxiety, night sweats and episodes. Especially young renters bc landlords take advantage of them.
Nobody likes you when you're depressed.
Plain and simple. We can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment you are depressed, people start to distance themselves. They see you as negative, a burden, and someone too heavy to handle.
Still true in 2025!
Covid doesn’t have a cure.
Neither does long covid.
The vax alone isn’t enough to protect or prevent.
Masks work. They work better when worn in community. One-way masking can only do so much. Disabled people are bearing the brunt of the world’s indifference.
Since about half the country is going to be under extreme heat and humidity for several days, let’s talk heat safety:
The biggest thing is prevention.
1. Stay hydrated. If you think you’ve had enough water, drink a little more. If you’re outside, you’re going to sweat.
know your masks:
respirators protect the wearer and community, whereas neck gaiters are worn primarily by those terrorizing the community and concealing their identity in the process.
happy juneteenth but dont forget that prisoners are legally allowed to be subject to slave labor and also black people are disproportionately arrested and subjected to that legality. happy juneteenth but slavery still lives in america. america is still dependant on slave labor.
