Listen, while I admit it can be hard with neurodivergency (autism, like I have) and also alcoholism and drug issues, it also doesn’t excuse the shit he said. It’s gonna take a LOT for people to forgive what he said… but it also doesn’t explain why Emily and Woopdoo only left recently. It’s genuinely insane the sort of stuff he was saying, especially about his neurodivergent fans (when he himself is neurodivergent)
I do wonder if Cary will also respond, or if any of the current or former crew will respond as well. For now, we have to wait.
I will say, good on Michael for admitting his mistakes and responding so maturely.
Of course, autism is 100% not an excuse; I wouldn’t expect anyone to be forgiven for what he did, and I wouldn’t expect to be forgiven for that either by just using that excuse. As I said, it’s gonna take a long, long time for trust to be rebuilt within the community.

Hello! Yesterday, I got confirmation I’ve been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It’s one of many steps I’ve taken over the past 14 months, when I first faced my Twitter mistakes and started working to do better.

Until 14 months ago, I used social media wildly irresponsibly, using the name Oddcard and others. I posted ragebait I don’t believe in, insulted literal fans, showed ignorance, and acted incredibly antisocially to people close to me who I love. The day I learned of the damage I had done, I deleted my account and vowed to serious life changes so I never reach that state again.

It was absolutely wrong and I’m fully responsible, so I knew a major effort was owed. I had hit a deeply unhealthy place with dependency and addiction, which is why since July 2025 I’ve stayed committed to addressing what kind of condition I was in to post like this, so that it never happens again.
