We have now come to the end of the @AfricaCDC x @GIZAfricanUnion Youth in Digital Health Network Consultation Workshop on the margins of the @AfricaHTSummit, which commences tomorrow.

I would love to use this medium to express my gratitude to our partners, the facilitators, all the participants, and relevant stakeholders.

Our mission at the Africa CDC is to collaborate with all @_AfricanUnion Member States and global health organizations to provide guidance and services that help them build nationwide and interoperable digital health systems that contribute to healthier and productive citizens of Africa.

We look forward to harnessing the insights and imagination of young people through meaningful engagement and participation to achieve this mission.

We also hope to extend the scope of this workshop beyond this year to ensure that by 2030, all African Union Member States will have accessible, affordable, qualitative, and person-centric #DigitalHealth systems that contribute to sustainable health outcomes and health security.

2. Digital Platforms & Solutions: Member States implement relevant digital solutions and collaborate on health security.

3. Digital Workforce Capacity & Competencies: Member States' digital capacity and competencies are built according to their priorities.

4. Open Global Goods & Interoperability Standards: Open global goods and interoperability standards are adopted and developed by Member States.

5. Hardware Infrastructure: Member States benefit from increased connectivity, computing, networking infrastructure, and mobile devices.

6. Market Shaping for Digital Health Innovations: Africa CDC fosters a market for Digital Health Innovations to flourish and empower citizens.

7. Digitalized Business Processes: Africa CDC’s have been reengineered to improved efficiency.
