@msupeach My boyfriend is watching the lions. I have chosen to not watch the game and instead spend my afternoon in kitchen making a lovely meal I will enjoy. I am still following the game, but I don’t have to watch. Being a lions and Spartans fan is often disappointing.
@matthoeppner Honestly though, I think MSU needs to interview better for this shit. Or maybe watch more footage than the highlight tape from the coach’s agent.
@mattcharboneau My dude asked me to explain what was wrong, so much. So many things. We mustered a safety in the second half, that was it. I am deeply concerned.
@Woman4W Umm, if I was in person I would excuse myself from the meeting unless I was presenting. If remote, I would turn my camera off, go on mute, and chat, brb. Honestly not a big deal. Probably easier at the office, because it is always stocked with pads, at home, who knows.
@Cluffalo I told my son that I love his dad still (he’s my ex husband). We were together for 20 years, we grew in different directions, I wish his dad happiness.
@SJFriedl@engineering_bae You are free to keep thinking that having tech as a passion outside of work is a differentiator, but you will hire a less diverse team and miss out on a lot of amazing engineers that don’t fit your model.
@SJFriedl@engineering_bae As a divorced mom, who loves tech and working in tech, my “side project” is raising my son. As a college student, I wanted interests outside of tech so I could make friends, female friends since there we basically no women in my degree program.
@HarmonyUsInc You are allowed to morn your garden. You love and tend it. It gives you beauty in return. You will grow another one, but it won’t be the same.
