"Loving" someone doesn't just mean that you have pleasant feelings or preference for them. "Loving" them means that you engage in the act of loving them - caring for them, giving from the heart, protecting, nurturing, and honoring them. Loving yourself means the same thing.
Holy shit. During a hearing on an anti-trans bill in Missouri, a lawmaker asked a 14 year old if they would "get the procedure" when discussing whether they belonged in a women's restroom.
This was asked on public record.
