As a new year begins, I’m retiring after over 30 years at the University of Edinburgh (the last 12 in the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, @EdinUni_IRR ). It’s been a blast but now time for the next exciting stage of life! 🧵
Thanks to everyone along the way and good luck to the next generation of incredibly talented scientists that I’ve had the pleasure of training and mentoring. Of course, I’ll be keeping in touch with many of you.
Professor Marc Turner, SNBTS Director, thanks everyone who has given blood in 2023, and First Minister Humza Yousaf visits Glasgow Donor Centre to give his #FestiveDonation. Happy New Year everyone from all at SNBTS ♥️ @ScotGovFM@NHSNSS
I'm cycling 50 miles on Sunday with a friend who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease recently. Hoping to raise more money for all the great research that is being done . https://t.co/bHVTkD1dNi
