@MSLifeSkills Her bio page has lots of resources in the stories. I took an online class with her that was soooo helpful. Good luck! I hope it gets better soon!
@MSLifeSkills Babies are wayyy better at getting milk out then pumps. A pump can get about half of what’s in there. Pumping before baby ate and then having her empty me out really helped my supply. There’s an Instagram account called milkandmother that is GREAT for education
@MSLifeSkills We had a similar problem at that age. I read the book Becoming Babywise and used their schedules (still do). She responded great to them. And we bought the Ollie swaddle. She slept 12 hour nights from that point until she outgrew her swaddle
First night of laying down drowsy/awake and going into soothe every 5 min: 18 min crying. 2nd night: 2.5 min. 3rd night: 0 minutes. I feel bad it’s taken me so long to figure this out
Yesterday someone suggested the Ferber method for baby sleep, but she modified it with soothing times and called it something else. We tried it last night and baby cried herself to sleep in 18 minutes, slept 10 hours! 😱 I wish I remembered who it was so I could thank her!
@pastorswifey93 You should definitely bring it up. Mine showed anterior at my 20 week scan. The dr said she’d keep an eye on it but wasn’t worried bc typically they move as the baby grows. That must have happened bc it was never brought up again and everything went fine 🤷🏼♀️
Parents: all the lit on baby sleep talks about the importance of daytime naps in the routine of things. So what do working parents do when their babies don’t nap at home? We’re on the sleep struggle bus and I hope it’s not bc of naps that I have no control over bc of daycare 😭
Today I was asked to build a pd for teachers about self-care in an effort to put a band-aid on teacher burnout. My response: make the workload more manageable, and they won’t burnout. The need for self-care is a symptom, not the problem #teacherproblems
