If you are not capable of forgiving someone you love that really repents, that really is trying, that really loves you, that didn't know he would cause that to you, then you don't really love this person, people make terrible mistakes, even the one we love, loving someone is work, is difficult, it requires effort.

There is no such thing as perfect relationship, perfect track record or perfect partners, sometimes someone messes up really bad on accident, loving is understanding they are regretful and forgive, because hurting someone you love does hurt you, so you have to understand you are hurt and the other is hurt as well and work together to figure things out.

Maybe the ship is ruined to you because you never really loved someone, you daydream about a illusion, a fake interpretation of what actually is love and how is life.

As long you are alive you will feel pain, even from the ones you love, specially from them.
