What many aren’t yet thinking about:

The technology used to work for us. Pretty soon, we will be working for the technology.

That means, blue collar and white collar will effectively 🔄 in labor market dynamics. Historically the dynamic has been - blue collar workers build our infrastructure, offices and platforms for white collar work to flourish. The hierarchy has been clear since the 1950s, fair or not.

The physical work will largely stay the same, but the money will flow much differently. White collar jobs will be handed off increasingly to AI.

Blue collar work will be in highest demand to support the insatiable need for compute, energy and power to support AI. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, estimators. These jobs will command high salaries.

White collar salaries will be the blue collar salaries of the 2010s, if the job still exists at all,

Everything will flip. Forget college. Go to trade school.
