Kevin was one of the first people I met in grassroots girls basketball.
He was always such an amazingly nice guy. This is a very sad day in women’s basketball. May he Rest In Peace.
We are deeply saddened to share that one of our former assistant coaches, Kevin Morrison, passed away last night after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Kevin epitomized what it was to be a Golden Bear through his dedication to the program and the players he worked with.
He was a crucial part of some of the best years in our program's history and he left a legacy that will never be forgotten. Our thoughts are with his wife Heather and his wonderful children Jayce, Jaylen, Myles and Mya.
Sending strength and love to Kevin’s family. I’m grateful to have had the pleasure of working with him and to call him a friend. Rest easy, Kev. Love you!! ❤️🙏🏾
"I don't just give honor to God when we win. He's the reason for all seasons; it's not harvest time yet. It wasn't in the cards.
I'm never going to turn my back on the game of basketball. It's given too much to me. I'm still favored."
Dawn Staley.
