People wish you “Peace and Joy” at Christmas. I am very happy that that is exactly what I have had. We’ve been staying in a Holiday Inn Express and had the quietest Christmas Day imaginable because we chose to do that. I hope that Christmas has brought you your desires.

I suffer from an eye condition which improves by having injections every few weeks into each eye. It makes a dramatic difference in my case. Thank you doctors at James Cook University Hospital and NHS.

Tonight I watched Cunk on Britain. One of the funniest programmes I have seen. Clever use of language - just up my street. Learned a great deal about the history of Britain - not!

Spent a lovely few hours with daughter and granddaughter who have now gone home. Now catching up on social media. I’m so saddened to read of increase of rough sleeping. Heart breaking to realise that many of these people we “Will Never Forget” are ex-service personnel.

Just catching up on latest goings-on in Parliament. Why do people look for any excuse to decry Corbyn? Having looked several times, it seems he is criticising comments, catcalls from Tory benches, “Stupid people.” Which, of course, they are in the way they were behaving.

Watching a recording from Hochanda - Craft channel. They are demonstrating embossing with copper and aluminium from Peak Dale Products. Takes me back to when I used to do craft fairs with pewter in same technique. It is very good. Need to do some again soon.
