Grief is so difficult to navigate because there’s no time span. Everyone deals with it differently and grow from it in their own way.
My advice to anyone going through it is to be patient with yourself, have good people around you and take all the time you need
Some people would rather put effort into getting the attention and adoration of online strangers, than spend quality time with their loved ones. You will receive a far greater return from genuine nourishment than you will from chasing validation.
Reflecting on the last week, I don't remember when I last had a birthday that wasn't a complete and utter disappointment. And I'm old, so I've had a lot of birthdays. Sad times
