@CheckersSA We recently ordered platters for a funeral from the deli at your Brackenhurst branch. Unfortunately, we made a mistake and provided the incorrect date for the order. Nosipho, the deli assistant, stepped in and completely saved the day for us.
Wallabies score a try off the back of what is possibly the most ludicrous TMO and subsequent penalty call in rugby history. Ethan Hooker penalized for superb tackle technique and timing.
Last month @WorldRugby handed Italy's coach a suspension for criticising match officials after a loss to the All Blacks.
An "automatic suspension" according to World Rugby's own statement.
Now All Blacks' Neil Barnes has done it 2 weeks in a row and not a beep from World Rugby.
Neil Barnes has now done it two weeks running.
Lose to the Boks, then blame the ref.
First it was the “gravy train of penalties” and how the All Blacks need to “change the perception of the officials” so they get a fair rub. Then after Baltimore: two brake-foot penalties against Codie Taylor that “no one really gives a shit about,” and the Boks getting penalties “for bugger all” so they can slow the game down.
That’s not honesty. That’s a bloke who thinks the laws apply to everyone except his team.
The brake foot is in the book. Taylor got pinged. Barnes’ answer is that both sides were doing it, so the ref should’ve ignored it. Same as last week: we can’t win the scrum, so the official should start seeing it our way.
Rennie kept his mouth shut. Barnes went on radio and told the country a law doesn’t matter when it costs New Zealand. That’s the superiority complex. The All Blacks play “the right way,” so technicals against them are trivia and penalties against the Boks are a stitch-up.
43-28. Series 3-1. The Boks were better. Close calls happen in close Tests. The side that keeps getting done at the set piece and then moans that the other lot used those penalties to stay in the fight is describing rugby, not a conspiracy.
Fix the hooker’s feet. Win the collision. Stop treating Karl Dickson like the reason you came second.
One member of Rassie’s management team that earned his money during the RGR, is Jaco Peyper.
The way the Boks adapted in Baltimore under Karl Dickson's way of refereeing after losing 17-24 under him against the All Blacks at Eden Park, is something that needs to be mentioned.👏
Commentators for @usopen are extremely biased. Unbelievable. Not a word when Rybakina hits well. All about CoCo. It's getting so bad. I wish we could mute just the commentary not the actual sounds of the ball and feet moving. This is beyond pathetic.
Dave Rennie spent weeks in press conferences talking about Springbok scrums “walking around.” Then you get the training footage (Texas), “Drop the shoulder… get them off the ball and finish in a position where the ref can’t ping you.” And “The refs don’t look at your knees…” followed by laughter. Same coach calling out the other side’s set-piece while showing his own players how to work the bits officials are less likely to see.

You truly are in rugby heaven when you're sitting in a Stadium along with 86,000 people and 80,000 of them cheer "SCRUM, SCRUM,SCRUM!!!" and your team proceed to get a penalty try from that scrum. This after the opposition coach pissed of 65 million people with his remarks on that same scrum a week earlier.
THEY DIDN’T STOP THE MAUL. THEY GOT BURIED BY IT.
20–30 metres of green steel, roaring, All Blacks hanging on for dear life then Malcolm Marx plants it. That’s not a try. That’s a statement.
Jean de Villiers not holding back on Cam Roigard 🗣️
"A lot has been said about gamesmanship, and I will call it out there. This game of ours is a pride one. Taking a dive. Yes, (Reinach) kind of ripped him backwards but it was certainly not a tip-tackle. A penalty at most."
