@JaniceDean I made sure all Drs sent info, even if not for depression, I filled out all forms & made sure they had everything. I stayed in touch periodically & 6 months received check for 6 months worth since we 1st applied. If you get atty before 3rd denial you're losing your money!

@JaniceDean My husband applied do to severe depression. I was told it's hard to get. Had a very nice man at SS office in Raleigh (live in NC) told me waste of money to get atty because it has to be denied 3 times before an atty can do anything. Appeals are handled internally until then.
