My column on the stories Matt Hancock tells himself - and his party colleagues only NOW discovering the backbone to criticise him https://t.co/YT7d9s7QOp
@ArtyBagger I’m sure I’d feel the same which is why I don’t watch it. It’s all so ‘in our faces’. They laugh at us, and our ‘rules of ok behaviour’ that will never apply to them.
@morayh Yes, he said he remembered the Grindlay St gig but not the Heriot Watt one. It was still a building site! A real gent as you say. I’m so glad you got to know him.
@BarbaraDickson So sad. Red Pump Special will be playing at the workshop I’m hosting today - my last contact with him was around buying the 40th edition of an album that meant so much to me. ❤️
@morayh First saw him live at the new Heriot Watt campus at Riccarton. Walked from Currie. Knew every word of every song he sang. He spotted that & said hi at the end of the concert. I was in touch with him recently to buy Red Pump 40th Ed: always humble. So sad. 🥲
@BriannaWu@elonmusk So, are you leaving Twitter? Genuine question. I’m confused by messages of the potential dangers of staying on Twitter from people who seem to be staying on Twitter. Is there a way we can protect our data? Trying to decide what to do…
@EmmaKennedy @KenParnham So far as I understand it Jack is involved with this & is still working with Musk. So won’t Bluesky still be the same people controlling the info sharing platforms? We just may have more control over what we see & they’ll take even more control away from politicians. Democracy?
BBC News at 4pm interviewed an 'expert' from Migration Watch during an item about the Home Secretary and immigration, without the slightest attempt to explain that MW was a right-wing pressure group. BBC getting worse and worse.
'Take Back Control' they said!
Less than 1000 asylum seekers crossed the Channel in small boats the entire 45 years of our EU membership!
60,000+ in less than 3 years since leaving!🤦♂️
