Don’t work the room and try to meet a bunch of people. Instead try to make one genuine friend or connection.

5. People like different things. Thous shalt give no fucks. Don't like sports? That’s fine. Hate a TV show? Don't watch it. A genre doesn't appeal to you? Don't read it. Let others enjoy what they like and tell them to let you do the same.
