@DavidBegnaud@CBSMornings Robin completed training for Lost Pet Recovery, she's a professional, not a volunteer. If she'd even thought (which she did not) to take the money to give to a charity, you know the trolls and Karens would have accused her of finding Maia for the money!
@DavidBegnaud Your story ended just a little soon: Robin declined the money offered because that's not why she is a lost pet recovery specialist. Dogs are her passion and they joy felt in reuniting people with their fur-babies is priceless!
@CBSMornings@DavidBegnaud Thanks for a wonderful story; one of the few who got it correct that it was Robin, not Delta. Your HS Speech teacher was correct: you do have the perfect voice for broadcast journalism.
@PClivingmag@DavidBegnaud @HLC96844313 This is my last time responding to your silliness, Val S. From details, this looks like sour grapes on your part. Robin IS an expert who knows this area. You have no clue the challenges put up by Delta and the airport - you can't do something just because you want to.
@cloroxgal @peta From what I understand, Lisa Klein, as she was leaving the airport, spotted Maia and called her friend Debbie, who called Robin. Robin rushed to the airport and couldn't get in, but a FedEx worker took her flier and later called her when he located Maia.
@ATLairport@DavidBegnaud You have to wonder how many weeks ago Maia could have been found if they had worked with Robin (as their Wildlife Biologist did Sat)!
@ATLairport Nice try...Credit goes to Robin and the fact that she never gave up the search and never stopped spreading the word and passing out fliers!
@ABCWorldNews@marcusmoore You can find the details of Maia's rescue at the Atlanta Airport in interviews by @DavidBegnaud or the public FB page "Find Maia Community"
@DavidBegnaud@PClivingmag @HLC96844313 @DavidBegnaud can you remove this OP from the thread? It is not productive. You know the truth and have been there with Robin and Paula from the beginning. Robin was exhausted throughout and some people were very wearing on her.
@PClivingmag@DavidBegnaud Delta told Paula's mom on Aug 25/26 that Maia was not on airport property. With no proof either way and no access to on-airport, Robin had to explore the possibility that Maia was off property!
@PClivingmag@DavidBegnaud WOW, I have no idea who you are, especially using an out-of-georgia account, but @DavidBegnaud is more than a little acquainted with Robin! Delta may have tried to take credit, but it was Robin who bravely got under the rail and rescued Maia.
They found Maia! Remember the dog I told yβall about who escaped her kennel while being transported by Delta in Atlanta? She was found by an animal welfare volunteer who put up signs around the airport & got a call today: the dog was still at the airport! https://t.co/87xzwgDSRY
