But they have had some power in the past. I feel bad for all of them. I know it’s got to be nearly impossible to make corrections mid season but it hurts seeing the same pitch selection and same contact time after time. And I know there were reasons to take Montero out of the game after 6 and only 65 pitches but in a stretch like this, something like that gets magnified.

@Lynn_Henning @BenVerlander something has to happen now, right? I mean the whole staff has to go. They tried changing batting coaches last year but they need a whole philosophical change. They’re not even hitting the ball hard…even in hitters counts. And they are almost never in hitters counts. If it was one or two hitters I could understand but everyone?….thats systemic. The players deserve better.

@EmilyCWaldon One foot. Torkelson was up with bases loaded, first pitch he hits over the foul pole in left field. Umpire called it foul. AJ challenged but cameras couldn’t tell when the ball crossed the foul pole. If that’s a grand slam Tigers would have blown the game wide open
