At 34, I was a grown woman when Mum died. But, the need to hear her advice, speak to her when sad, happy or worried has never gone away. If you want to set a resolution for 2026, phone/visit your parents more. One day you won't be able to and it hurts.

Goodbye 2025. I learned not to wish for a better year. Not to say "can't be any worse" We never know what life will throw at us, be grateful for each day.
It will be 10 years in May since I lost my incredibly brave Mum. 10 years she has missed out on.
