@trackminderart hope it's ok to ask: do you happen to have more info on the community and its history on hand? I meant to stop by your momocon meetup to ask but I was afraid I'd be intruding as someone who isn't personally a part of the community
I noticed furry history has been getting pretty popular over here on Twitter! So I wanted to make a thread talking about my furry T-shirt collection-
We can start with my Mephit Furmeet shirts!
#furry#furryart#furryhistory
Guys, what are your favourite „lost fursuits“?
Meaning suits that either totally vanished after they were made or where owners seemingly lost interest never to be seen again.

we need to stop calling it "therapy speak" and start calling it pop psychology because that's what it is. the words you learned from tiktokers who read 'The Sociopath Next Door' and 'The Five Love Languages' are hurting you.
the thing where kids will just tell you all their family’s business must have been so funny from historical aristocratic children. you’re some humble retainer and one day apropos of nothing the crown princess is just like btw father has no hair he wears wigs. i saw him he’s bald
@squishy_toys i don't airbrush, (i do drybrushing) but are you going in light passes and brushing it w/ a wire brush as you work? the paint will always make it a little crunchy but keeping it thin and brushing like that will help!! (these look great btw!!)
@EddieBear58 imo it's also b/c makers shoot themselves in the foot by selling 3d printed bases. ppl opt to buy those instead of actually learning the craft + a maker selling a $150 base is like $800 minimin they're losing having not personally made that head
@CrystalJackal@Spoofi5 ngl i think there's a good case for not working off of someone else's base for the first time. theres a lot more of a sense of accomplishment/you learn way more by doing it yourself and troubleshooting. also saves marginally on material costs
@cookiethefox you could easily make one yourself for under 1k. I feel like any maker doing digi body comms for that much in 2026 would really be underselling themself
