Ghanaian game developer and digital marketer Mathias Asamoah has unveiled CityQuest, an ambitious tourism and STEM-focused gaming platform designed to showcase Ghana’s culture, history and natural attractions through interactive digital adventures and real-life experiences.
The locally developed platform aims to redefine how people discover Ghana by blending education, tourism and entertainment into immersive gameplay. Rather than presenting Ghana as a destination to simply visit, CityQuest encourages players to explore, learn and connect with the country’s rich heritage through engaging adventures inspired by real locations.
According to Asamoah, the project is driven by a vision to position Ghana as one of the world’s most exciting tourism destinations while inspiring a new generation to appreciate and protect their environment.
“My dream is that one day children across Ghana won’t just read about our country—they’ll play through it, explore it, protect it and be proud of it,” he said.
This sentence by Dostoyevsky never fails to hit hard:
“You sensed that you should be following a different path, a more ambitious one, you felt that you were destined for other things but you had no idea how to achieve them and in your misery you began to hate everything around you.”
“People underestimate how long it takes to win big. You struggle for 10 years. Eventually, in one day, you achieve more than you did your entire life. Be patiently aggressive.”

Jeff Bezos had it right:
“The world wants you to be typical in a thousand ways, it pulls at you. Don't let it happen. You have to pay a price for your distinctiveness, and it's worth it.”
The simplest path I know to get rich....
1. Buy a small business.
2. Use outside $ or seller financing.
3. Add a website, social, reviews.
4. Raise your prices.
5. Add a subscription option.
6. Offer more services to same clients.
7. Buy a competitor and repeat.
Sell your business for 2-3x more in 3 years.
