On this sad day, let's reflect on Psalm 13. When David's heart was heavy and he questioned God, he trusted in God's unfailing love.

The irony is that what Charlie Kirk built was a platform at these college campuses that gave everyone, independent of race, ideology, or belief, a place to come and share and discuss their ideas. If we cannot share and discuss, we will never grow or find common ground. Respect is due to this champion of free speech. He was clear that his objective was never to force his opinions (look for the Bill Maher clip) but to debate. Yes, he was a great debater, mostly because he studied and prepared, and to many, had the truth on his side. It is a travesty that because he was winning the debate in some people's eyes, they resort to name-calling, defamation, and now murder. In doing so, they belittle what we all desire, the American ideal of free speech. I think we should expect better from our teachers, who are public servants by choice. She can have her opinions and free speech and express her hatred but a better way is love and respect. ... Perhaps that is why, Charlie succeeded .....by choosing the better way.

@DollyParton "For those dreams don't have to die,
Though they're buried deep inside,
Hold on tight and let them help you fly.
Don't let those good ol dreams die"
