@cenkuygur If he drops out, the democratic party loses. It's that simple. Like it or not, he has the best chance. If Biden drops out, or dem votes go to another candidate, 45 or whatever repub wins. Sometimes, you shoot yourself in the foot and then wonder why you're limping.
@TheYoungTurks@AnaKasparian@Newsweek That's your prerogative. If Biden is the democratic nominee, a no vote is basically a vote for the republican nominee, imo..
63 years ago today, 6-year-old #RubyBridges integrated William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Many, including white moderates, believed that she was “out of order.”
Thank you to Ruby Bridges and her family for being “out of order.”
The GOP has introduced a bill to EXPEL Palestinians from the United States. I cannot read such things without remembering what happened to my own family after Pearl Harbor.

Zero mention of the state tripling funding for school vouchers.
During her campaign @CTruittNCDPI said she’d oppose voucher expansion.
She did not. #nced#ncpol
This is Bidenomics in action:
✅ The most jobs ever created in one term.
✅ 336,000 jobs created last month—nearly 14 million jobs created under President Biden.
✅ Unemployment under 4% for 20 months in a row—the longest stretch in over 50 years!
Meanwhile Republicans in Congress are doing nothing at all.
@boukh52 @RobertPassare14 @johncusack In N. Korea, they worship the "dear leader". It is state mandated that they do so. N. Korea may be the most religious country on the planet...

Positive Star Power: Athletes, actors and singers sometimes catch flack from the public when they choose to use their star wattage for good causes, like education, voting, or saving lives.
Two extremely popular singers have emerged as positive role models through their actions: Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift.
Swift's popularity, which was already sky high, received an added boost when she used her platform to register young voters. She posted a link to the nonpartisan nonprofit https://t.co/Ywwx0AE6a8, and helped add more than 35,000 registered voters in record time!
"Our site was averaging 13,000 users every 30 minutes – a number that Taylor Swift would be proud of," said Andrea Hailey, CEO of https://t.co/Ywwx0AE6a8. "Time and time again young people are showing up and demonstrating they care about their rights and access to the ballot box."
Swift has famously tried to stay out of politics, but also rallied her fans to register to vote in 2018, when 65,000 people in 18 to 29 registered to vote in the 24 hours following her post on social media.
Dolly Parton is also a hugely popular singer who tries to stay out of politics, but has contributed a great deal to her community and her country.
Republicans have spent much of the past few years on a book banning crusade, but Parton started the Imagination Library program, which has donated over 130 million books to children in five countries -- one per month from birth until the end of kindergarten.
"In the beginning, my hope was simply to inspire the children in my home county but here we are today with a worldwide program that gives a book a month to well over 1 million children," Parton said.
She also reduced the drop out rate in her home county in the 90's by offering each 7th and 8th grader $500 so long as they remained in school without dropping out. The drop out rate plummeted from 35% to 6%.
Would the world be a much better place if we had more positive contributions from celebrities and artists like Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift? 💙
