I have never done anything like this before, but I'm asking for help following my husband's heart attack on Saturday. He remains in the ICU, still recovering. We appreciate any help. Most of all, we appreciate the prayers. I am forever grateful.

It’s telling how few Catholics still mark 3pm on Fridays: the hour of the Crucifixion.
For centuries, a Church bell stopped people to remember the Passion as the week’s centre
Many Catholics today have never heard of this devotion
We can talk about restoring tradition, but it starts with simple habits
But if Christ’s death is just another hour on the clock, our 'traditionalism' is mostly vibes
A few minutes meditating on His suffering is more radical than most of what we post
A quick health update...
A month back, I had a mega chemo blast followed by the reintroduction of my own healthy stem cells into my blood stream. After an unexpected hospital stay and a rougher recovery than expected (a month of nonstop nausea is deeply unpleasant), yesterday I had my 30-day post-transplant tests.
Good news: my body fully reintegrated my good stem cells, my white blood cell and platelet counts have already returned to the healthy range, and the nausea finally (finally!) relented.
So, in about 2 months, they'll do more tests of my blood and bone marrow, see if any cancer cells remain, then recommend some form of maintenance plan, likely a mild medication regimen. God willing, it looks like I'm through the worst of it. Just need to work on getting my appetite back, exercise to counter the deep fatigue, and ... paying the freaking bills!
For those interested how to help with that, here's a link, which I shared once shortly after my diagnosis last November. The main thing I need, of course, is any and all prayers you care to offer. Since the start, they've made a huge and noticeable difference. THANK YOU.

I wrote today about my prayer, begging God to take care of my family because I can't. Tonight, my daughter asked if would make this request, because they're in real financial trouble.
If you can help at all, I would be so grateful. Thank you in advance.

Shame is an important tool in a functional society. Humans will always do deviant things, yes, but healthy families, churches, & societies label deviancy as such & certainly refuse to celebrate it.
Early Christians chose to face death by being eaten alive by lions rather than participate in honoring the emperors or pagan gods.
The Post-V2 Church invites the world inside, promotes religious indifference, and bowed to the state.
What will you choose?-'--because there is no middle ground, and soon you will be forced to choose.
Let’s compare poor Christian nations with poor Islamic ones.
The Philippines: I was there last year. Majority Christian, about 91%, financially poor. But walk the streets and it's joy and music and hospitality. Cities filled with dancing and laughter. You might get offered a meal and a karaoke mic in the same hour.
Now compare that with poor Islamic countries like Somalia, Yemen, or Afghanistan.
What is the fruit? Fear. Depression. Violence. Kids holding AKs. Women hidden. Joy that feels restricted and illegal. Questioning faith is dangerous. Conversion can be deadly. Apostasy penalties exist.
And our Bible says the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Show me that fruit of Islam. Show me gentleness in Sharia law. Show me peace in jihad.
You can’t—because the root determines the fruit. So don’t judge by claims. Don’t judge by numbers. Judge by the fruit you actually see. And if you're honest, you can see which one leads to freedom.
The belief in religious freedom is inherently flawed and leads to evil as shown by the UK horror.
It is impossible to support religious freedom when other religions support the murder, rape, torture of others who are not their religion.
It is equally absurd to believe the claim that the religion which endorses those actions is the same as the God of Christianity.
Use your brain. Use reason.
God wants you to be rational.
These assertions about religious freedom and the origin of different religions are manifestly absurd.
@tanyaelisabethh The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. Women gave up this power and handed it to daycares full of strangers and Marxist schools. That is why the world is falling apart.
Feminism is a scourge.

For ALL My Okie Friends and Surrounding States. This young man is autistic and has been missing since 8 pm Yesterday. He was released from work early, but no one from his employer notified his parents. The employer's stance is "He's 20 years old!"
BUT HE'S AUTISTIC!

Today Mrs Pascal taught me ladybugs are Catholic.
Their name comes from "Our Lady's bug"...linked to the Virgin Mary.
Medieval farmers prayed to her during pest plagues; swarms of red beetles (Mary's mantle) arrived & saved the crops. The 7 spots? Her 7 Sorrows/Joys.
We really need to more actively interact with our Guardian Angels.
About 2 years ago, I made sure to include my Guardian Angel in between every decade of the Rosary I prayed.
Whenever I’m in a conflict, or know of others in conflicts, I often ask everyone’s Guardian Angels to pray for us/them, that we receive the graces we need to resolve the conflict in a God and Golden Rule-honoring way.
I can see much more clearly the ways in which my own Guardian Angel has protected me from so many things—even events I may perceive as disappointments at the time, but later find out I was being protected from something.
Our Guardian Angels desire for us to reach heaven even more than our family and friends. Don’t forget to develop your relationship with them!
“In heaven, their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.”
Jesus (Matt. 18:10)
When butter was demonised, Unilever sold margarine.
When tallow was demonised, Procter and Gamble sold Crisco.
When eggs were demonised, Kellogg's sold cereal.
When red meat was demonised, Cargill sold soy.
When raw milk was demonised, Nestle sold infant formula.
When leather was demonised, BASF sold PVC.
When wool was demonised, ExxonMobil sold polyester feedstock.
When animal fat was demonised, the seed-oil industry grew from a niche product to the most consumed food ingredient on earth.
Every demonisation of an animal product made a specific group of shareholders very rich.
Every one of those products had been eaten by humans for thousands of years without incident.
The science changed the moment a substitute existed to sell.
Follow the money. The advice will start to make a lot more sense.
